Today I did the boat licence course with RumboAltea Charter and the experience was amazing. From the first moment everything was very well organised and the atmosphere was very pleasant. I would especially like to highlight David, the instructor, who was super friendly, close and very professional throughout the training. He explains everything clearly and with a lot of patience, making you feel confident and enjoy learning even if you have no previous experience. In addition, he transmits a lot of confidence and passion for the sea, which makes the course even more interesting. The boats are very well maintained, clean and ready to enjoy without complications. Very good experience! With Rumboaltea we rented the Marinello 16 (an unlicensed boat for 6 people) and sailed around the bay of Albir and Altea. The treatment from the company was excellent, they were very responsive and very cordial. In addition, the girl who gave us the boat was charming and explained everything very well. The price was also one of the best in the area. We will repeat without any doubt!

I have rented with my wife an incredible sailboat: spotless, super equipped and in an unbeatable condition: bed and bath linen included. The check-in on Friday was perfect, everything was explained to us when the boat was delivered, making everything very clear and resolving all doubts. We booked a lesson with the instructor on the day, Jaime. I have to say that he is one of the best people I have ever met and a great instructor: we went over everything we needed to go out to sea safely and he taught us how to dock without any problems: thanks to his technique we were able to do so without any major complications when my wife and I stayed with him. The sailing lesson allowed us, together with the sailboat which was a blast to handle, to enjoy sailing without an engine and with very simple sail handling. All this, with the assurance that if we had any problems, they were close by to help us. The area: perfect. We wanted to go without children to be able to go with the family in safety. A very quiet area to be with the family, in addition to a good, comfortable and tidy port and the village of Altea: beautiful for strolling and dining. Without a doubt, we will repeat. Thanks to all the Rumboaltea family! Unforgettable, to repeat. We had a great time, it was the best plan of my holiday. Spacious boat that has allowed us to visit several areas of the coast between Albir and Calpe, with two relaxing baths with the privacy that allows you to go on the boat choosing at all times where to anchor and enjoying fantastic views of the surroundings. The staff of the company were excellent, at all times they helped us and explained all the details very well so that we could enjoy a great morning without any problems, thank you very much.

The treatment was great, the boat was just as described. Easy parking. The port is located in a very good point to go to Benidorm or Calpe. We have been very comfortable. To say something and obviously it is not essential, just for comfort and confidence, it would be great if the boat had a nautical sounder.

A perfect experience, we had never taken a boat like this, and the truth is that, although at the beginning I was a little bit scared, due to the fact of not having a licence and all that, then you realise that you just have to have common sense. But I want to emphasize without a doubt the treatment and the attention on the part of rumbo altea, since it has not been able to be better, so much before the day, as that day when they delivered the boat to us. Everything was perfect. I recommend it 100%. Kind, understanding and patient. On the phone they recommended us to take just enough, but as we were going with children, we took more than they recommended, and I have to say that we had enough, they were right. What is really important is food and water, a towel and diving goggles or snorkelling mask. Everything else is left over (a towel for everyone). We liked the experience and the treatment so much that we are going to repeat in 10 days 😉.
