Whether you dream of sailing further afield, chartering larger vessels or exploring inter-island routes, the PER is your qualification. It is the most versatile qualification and the favourite of those who want to make the sea an important part of their lives.

What will you be able to do with the per?
15 metres
Steer recreational motor boats up to 15 metres in length, with no engine power limit*.
12 miles
Navigate within 12 nautical miles (± 10 kilometres) of a port, marina or place of refuge**.
Sailing to the Balearic Islands*.
Sail between the mainland and the Balearic Islands and increase the length to 24 m.
Everything is done on board our fleet, with small groups and personalised attention.

Course content and requirements
PER Theory
- Safety and risk prevention.
- Advanced RIPA.
- Coastal and coastal navigation.
- Cartography and defeats.
- Meteorology and wind systems.
- Communications and basic electronics.
Requirements
- Have 18 years.
- Pass the official theory test.
- Carry out engine and radio practice.
- Nautical medical certificate.
Compulsory internship (engine)
- Advanced manoeuvres in port.
- Control of the boat at different speeds.
- Steering, courses and actual navigation.
- Man overboard manoeuvre.
- Anchoring in different scenarios.
Radio internships
- Use of VHF.
- Proper communications in ports and emergencies.
- Actual procedures in distress situations.
Optional qualifications
Sailing and Balearic Islands. Extends the length to 24 metres.
No, the PER can be done directly.
Yes, you can do it whenever you want.
With good preparation and our real-life practices, most students pass on the first try.
